Web Service Log Viewer

The Web Service Log Viewer can be used by a suitably authorized user to view a list of 'requests' sent to, and 'responses' received from, the web service. It can be used as a diagnostic tool, to determine whether a user is able to send and receive SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) messages to the LIMSML server.

 

Note: The WebService Log Viewer must be activated before log files can be produced.

 

To activate the Web Service Log Viewer:

  1. Select the Configuration tab to view the system configuration and monitoring options.
  2. Select the Web Service Log Viewer option from the Panelbar, or from the content pane of the SampleManager web interface.

Note: Remember that the menu options will only appear in the content pane if your SampleManager web interface has been configured to display them.

  1. Select Activate from the menu bar at the top of the content pane.

To view the Web Service log:

  1. Select the Configuration tab to view the system configuration and monitoring options.
  2. Select the Web Service Log Viewer option from the Panelbar, or from the content pane of the SampleManager web interface.
