Information for the SampleManager web application is cached to speed up the retrieval process. This reduces the number of 'visits' to the LIMS server.
It may sometimes be necessary to clear the cache to update the on-screen information. For example, if you add more fields to a template, after using the same template to login a sample via the web interface, the new fields will not be displayed while the original template details remain in the cache.
The Application Settings screen displays a list of caches for the SampleManager web application, as shown in the example below:

Click on the appropriate Clear button to clear a cache.
